The Petzl JANE‑Y is a fixed double lanyard without an energy absorber, designed for professional work at height where movement along structures is necessary. Thanks to its Y-configuration, the user can move continuously while remaining connected with one arm at all times. The JANE‑Y is intended for use in combination with a separate energy absorber, such as the Petzl ABSORBICA, allowing for a modular and EN-compliant fall protection solution to be assembled.

The lanyard is made from durable dynamic rope and features sewn terminations for a compact, durable, and secure connection to the harness and connectors. This robust design makes the JANE‑Y extremely suitable for intensive daily use in industry, maintenance, steel construction, and rope access environments.
