The Petzl SPATHA knife is a compact and lightweight safety knife, specially designed for work at height, rope access, rescue, and professional outdoor use. The knife is developed to quickly and safely cut ropes, webbing, and textiles, even when the user is wearing gloves. Thanks to its clever design, the SPATHA can be easily opened with one hand and operated safely in demanding work environments.

The SPATHA features an ergonomic handle and a stainless steel blade that stays sharp for a long time. The knife can be directly attached to a harness, so it is always within reach during work. Depending on the version, the SPATHA is available with a plain or partially serrated edge for extra grip on wet or frozen ropes.
