De Fristads FLAM 8030 is een overall met vlamboogbescherming APC 1 (ELIM 8 / ATPV 10 cal/cm²) die ook gecertificeerd is voor lassen volgens EN ISO 11611 klasse 1.

Gemaakt van 75% FR-katoen, 24% polyester, 1% antistatische vezel (ca. 365 g/m²). Een geheel zonder open overgang tussen jas en broek, met kniezakken voor kniestukken (Fristads 124292).

Vlamboogkleding beschermt alleen als gesloten geheel: draag jas en broek (of een overall) van minimaal dezelfde klasse en draag eronder geen smeltende synthetische kleding. Welke klasse nodig is, volgt uit de risico-inventarisatie (RI&E) en de vlamboog-risicoanalyse van de werkgever. Fristads vermeldt dat de vlamboogresultaten gelden voor de gecertificeerde kledingcombinaties; de conformiteitsverklaring vind je bij Technische documenten.
