The Petzl TWIN RELEASE is a releasable double progress-capture pulley for setting up hauling systems with mechanical advantage (4:1). The integrated progress-capture can be released under load with the ergonomic handle, allowing for controlled lowering of the load without reconfiguring the system.
With two sheaves on sealed ball bearings (95% efficiency) and an auxiliary attachment point, the TWIN RELEASE is suitable for demanding rescue and hoisting applications, including in confined spaces.
Key features
- Releasable double progress-capture pulley with ergonomic release handle
- Progress-capture releasable under load
- Toothless cam protects the rope and allows for smooth transitions between hauling and lowering
- Brake integrated into the movable side plate for additional control with heavy loads
- Two sheaves on sealed ball bearings — 95% efficiency
- Suitable for ropes from 8 to 13 mm, weight 800 g
- Maximum working load 280 kg, breaking strength 36 kN
Important for safe use
