De Fristads Flamestat 984 is een sweater met vlamboogbescherming APC 1 (ELIM 12 cal/cm²) van inherent vlamvertragende stof.

De stof (60% modacryl, 38% katoen, 2% antistatische vezel, ca. 390 g/m²) is PFAS-vrij. Draag hem los of als warme tussenlaag onder een vlamboogjas.

Vlamboogkleding beschermt alleen als gesloten geheel: draag jas en broek (of een overall) van minimaal dezelfde klasse en draag eronder geen smeltende synthetische kleding. Welke klasse nodig is, volgt uit de risico-inventarisatie (RI&E) en de vlamboog-risicoanalyse van de werkgever. Fristads vermeldt dat de vlamboogresultaten gelden voor de gecertificeerde kledingcombinaties; de conformiteitsverklaring vind je bij Technische documenten.
